Leading a Council of Europe delegation to Bosnia Herzegovina

Having recently led a Council of Europe delegation to Bosnia Herzegovina, to observe the way the general elections were conducted there, I expected our report would be of interest within the continent of Europe. The delegation included 18 MPs from 10 different countries.

Cheryl re-elected to serve on All-Party Parliamentary Groups

The All Party Parliamentary Groups are a way that parliamentarians can work across the political divides to influence and change policy on important areas. They also act as a prime liaison point between various sectors and parliament and are now regulated to increase transparency.

Exiting the EU

Rt Hon Cheryl Gillan, MP for Chesham & Amersham was called early in the debate on Article 50 and spoke in support of the legislation to obtain Parliamentary consent to start the formal process of the UK leaving the European Union.

US Executive Order

Cheryl was on her feet in the chamber of the House of Commons again speaking up for her constituents in Chesham & Amersham, on Monday 30 January.
